The WW Regulatory and Technical Service Manager (HEMP) will be responsible for providing

technical support and regulatory guidance related to acquisitions, new technologies and products related to

cannabinoids. Analysis required by this position is to evaluate industry trends and fully analyze Client’s

business position then developing business strategies that position Client favorably in these markets. Special

project assignment for this position will typically be related to the technical areas of product launches. This

position may occasionally be assigned to evaluation of acquisition targets

MINIMUM EDUCATION (including licenses, certifications, designations, etc.):

 Bachelor’s degree in related scientific field with 5+ years of business to business (B2B) experience in

regulatory, technical services, marketing, or sales in a hemp-related industry

 Experience in legal or regulatory affairs

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 Provide and build expertise on hemp-related science and formulation

 Provide and build expertise on regulatory global landscape in relation with cannabinoids

 Provide support to customers from a regulatory and technical standpoint

 Provide training to internal and external customers

 Review and sign-off for cannabinoid related Marketing materials

 Build Client’s brand reputation in the industry with KOLs including influencers, academics, and doctors

 Support innovation, quality, regulatory dossier submissions and marketing of hemp-related products

 Collaborate with Sales managers to achieve forecasted budget in sales and gross margin

 Collaborate with Sales managers to grow and execute on a rich sales pipeline to achieve consistent

year over year growth

 In collaboration with Sales manager establish relationships with individuals at all levels of the

customers’ organization and work to ensure multi-contact approach at the customers’ organization

with technical services manager(s), marketing manager(s) and R&D

 Continue relationship building and growth with customers after the sale is closed

 Work together with other commercial team members, regionally or globally, for select key and/or

global accounts in a team selling approach

 Make presentations on Client products/services related to hemp

 Attend and represent Client at industry tradeshows, conferences, and events

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:

 Must have a solid understanding and adherence to the Servant Leadership philosophy

 A solid understanding and passion for hemp to prepare and present detailed technical and commercial

presentations to current and prospective customers

 Solid understanding of the cannabinoids regulatory landscape

 Prior experience in managing B2B projects to a successful completion

 Must have positive (can do attitude), work well in a team, and a high degree of energy, drive,

perseverance, and personal motivation, demonstrated project and time management skills, and strong

interpersonal skills

 Strong technical writing and presentation skills

 Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office products and database development programs

and the ability to train others in these systems

 Excellent communications skills

 Must provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.

 Fluent in English, and fluency in Spanish desired

 Be passion about Hemp and enthusiastic in segment

PHYSICAL EFFORT NEEDED:

Expected to drive or fly to meet with customers and may spend several hours in a car or plane. Must be able to

sit for long periods of time.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

Primarily in the office or vehicle traveling.

TRAVEL: up to 60% (Remote applicants expected to be in Des Moines, IA, to collaborate with local

team at least one week per month)

Compensation is 70-100K , with a variable based in sales and performance that can range from 10-40% salary on average, and based on client rules is uncapped.
